Good questions
When does Coowise launch?
In January 2027, in the US, in time for tax season. Before that, a small beta group uses it first and tells us what to fix. Join the list and we'll email you when your spot is ready.
Is Coowise tax advice?
No. Coowise keeps your books and gets your numbers ready. It doesn't file your return or tell you what to claim. For advice about your situation, talk to a tax professional. You can give them a free read-only link to your books.
Which banks work?
Most US banks and credit cards, through Plaid. If yours won't connect, you can upload a statement file from your bank's website instead (CSV at launch).
Does it work on iPhone, Android and the web?
Yes, all three, with one account. Your books and your plan are the same on every device.
What happens after the 3-month trial?
You choose. We don't ask for a card, so nothing is charged unless you pick Plus. On Free you keep all your data, 1 bank account keeps syncing and mileage keeps tracking with no monthly limit. Other accounts pause, and catch up if you come back to Plus.
Do I need Plus to track mileage?
No. Free logs every drive automatically, with no monthly limit. Plus sorts trips for you, using your known places, work hours and driving shifts.
I use QuickBooks Self-Employed. Can I switch?
Yes. Connect your bank and Coowise brings in your recent transactions; how far back depends on your bank. If months are missing, upload a statement. There's no direct import from QuickBooks at launch.
Is Coowise coming to Canada, the UK or India?
Not at launch. Canada is next, planned for the 2028 tax season. The UK and India come later. The beta and launch are for people who work in the US.
